Choosing and Installing an Operating System for VPS/VDS
Step [1] First, log in to the panel from the Client Area
Step [2] After logging in, you will see your Services -> VPS/VDS on left menu. Select the VPS/VDS you want to configure, click the "setup" button, and navigate to the operating systems menu.
Step [3] There are two main options for selecting an operating system:
- Plain OS: If you choose this option, various operating systems will be offered. Select the one you want and start the installation process.
- OS with Control Panel: If you want an additional management panel, select this option. This choice offers operating systems with various management panels.
Step [4] For example, you can choose AlmaLinux 9 64bit - Webmin/Virtualmin/LAMP. After making your selection, click the “Save and Continue” button.
Step [5] On the next page, you need to fill in the following parameters:
- "Set Secure for Root Password": Set a secure password for the root user. The password should be long and complex to ensure security.
- "SSH Key": You can add an SSH key. This key secures your SSH connections and makes your access more reliable.
Step [6] After filling in the parameters, proceed to the next page. Here, an overview of the installation will be displayed. Click “Install” and wait for the VPS/VDS installation to complete.
Step [7] Once the installation is complete, the VPS/VDS will be ready, and you can start using it.
